Don 3 is one of Bollywood's most anticipated films. This will be the third film in Farhan Akhtar's Don series. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly demanded a fee of 300 crore rupees for the film, which led to discussions about replacing him with Ranveer Singh. However, after the success of his film Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh also quoted a fee of 200 crore rupees. As a result, Ranveer Singh was also dropped from Don 3.
Now, there are reports that Farhan Akhtar has approached Salman Khan for the lead role in Don 3. The script of Don 3 has also been modified to suit Salman Khan's personality. It is also reported that Salman Khan is charging 80 crore rupees for the film, in addition to a share of the profits if the film is a hit. Filming for Don 3 is expected to begin in June 2026. There are also reports that Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Rao, R. Madhavan, Pankaj Tripathi and Nana Patekar have been cast in other roles in Don 3. The film is planned for release in 2027.
