"Border 2" is an upcoming 2026 epic action war Hindi film written and directed by Anurag Singh. It is a sequel to J.P. Dutta's 1997 film Border and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series Films and J.P. Films.
This film is a multi-front war drama set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, expanding on the scope of its predecessor by showcasing the joint operations of the Indian armed forces – the Army, Air Force, and Navy. Sunny Deol returns in the lead role, joined by actors like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty. The film also features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana in key roles. The film was released in India on January 23, 2026. The film's budget is approximately ₹275 crore. "Border 2" will be released on Prime Video in April 2026. Amazon Prime Video acquired the rights to the film for ₹150 crore.
